When trying to sign up for the first time, I receive an error message stating to 'Please check company information'.

  1. Verify that the email address entered by the customer is a real and legitimate email address. The system will not allow bogus addresses.
  2. Verify the Account number, Invoice number, and the CURRENT CHARGES on that invoice. The dollar amount should be the Current Charges, not the Total Amount due.

I did not receive the Activation Email.

  • Please check your Spam email or Junk email folders for the email. We have verified that the emails are going out to the customers. However, due to the sending address, it may be flagged as Spam by the your email system.
  • Attempt to login or select "Forgot Your Password". Both of these will resend your activation email if your account has not yet been activated.
  • Sometimes email servers can become backed up which can cause email delays ranging from 10 minutes to 48 hours.

I received the Activation Email, but when I 'Click Here', 1) nothing happens, or 2) it takes me to the Portal Login and says 'Invalid User Information'.

  • If you received the Activation Email, the 'Click Here' link should open a new browser that says 'Congratulations, your account is now active'. You can then click on the link to continue to the Portal Login.
  • If the link does not open the 'Congratulations' page, please forward the email to billingdisputes@nuvox.com. A representative will contact IT for resolution.

I am trying to add one of my other accounts.

  • Make you have the following information for the account you wish to add: Account Number, Invoice Number, Current Charges for that invoice.
  • Please use the 'My NuVox Navigator' in the upper right corner to go back and forth between accounts, or to return to the 'Manage Accounts' page.
    1. Click the 'Add Account' tab
    2. Complete the information as requested
    3. Click 'Add Account'

I am trying to Opt Out, but the 'No' button is still marked.

  1. Click the 'Yes' button under 'eBill Only'
  2. Click 'Update' at the bottom of the account list

I need to change my password for the My NuVox login.

  1. Click on the 'Preferences' tab
  2. Enter the current password
  3. Enter and confirm the new password
  4. Click 'Submit'

I need to change my email address for the My NuVox login.

  • At this time, My NuVox does not support changing the User ID or email address. If it is necessary to change the email address, sign up again for the first time using the new email address. You will also have to add any additional accounts to the new User ID under the 'Add An Account' tab.
